McKinsey advisor John Straw brings technology and ecommerce expertise to Ve Global board

John Straw, digital entrepreneur and IT marketing expert, has joined the board of leading ecommerce provider Ve Global as a Non Executive Director. 

An early stage martech investor and founder of multiple technology startups, John brings over 30 years of experience in IT and marketing to Ve Global at a time of significant growth and transformation for the business. Alongside his own entrepreneurial accolades, which include four consecutive exits and three institutional fundraises, John currently serves in a senior advisory capacity to a selection of high-profile companies including McKinsey and IBM, and as a Non Executive Director to FTSE100 company Provident Financial plc. Prior to this, John was the Chairman of Thomas Cook’s Digital Advisory Board, where he led the global travel brand’s digital transformation.

As an expert on technology disruptors and associated economics, John’s role on the board will stretch beyond a focus on diligence and corporate governance. His understanding of ecommerce technology, market and product will see him advise the company on both internal and product performance, and play a crucial role in driving Ve Global towards its long-term goal of becoming a £100m ARR business.
