26th September, São Paulo, Brazil: Following a £15 million investment to help consolidate its position and further enhance its market-leading technology worldwide, Ve Global (“Ve”), a multi-award winning marketing technology business that operates from product discovery through to purchase, announces a new leadership structure in Latin America to strengthen its business in Brazil and across the continent.
Edson Salomao, who successfully headed up operations for Ve across Latin America, will take the lead in driving the business forward, alongside Alejandro Bertotto who has taken responsibility for all commercial activity in Brazil in addition to his current duties as Managing Director of Ve Argentina. The business is also on the hunt to recruit a senior commercial lead to accelerate its operations in the region.
This move is the latest development in what has been an exciting period for Ve, with the company launching its refreshed brand at leading digital marketing show dmexco earlier this month. The launch also coincided with Ve opening a new global headquarters in the heart of London’s Tech City. The new office provides the perfect base from which to grow the company’s operations internationally.
On Ve’s growth plans for Latin America, Edson Salomao, said: “It’s an exciting period for Ve’s worldwide business, especially in South America where the business is experiencing growth. The £15 million cash injection from existing investors will help facilitie the hiring of world-class staff and further develop our consumer-first technologies to help us on our mission in delivering meaningful growth to our clients.
After building Ve Brazil up, and contributing to the growth of Ve’s businesses in Mexico, Argentina and Colombia, Juliana Custodio has stood down as Managing Director of Brazil.
