London 25 January: Ve Global (“Ve”) has picked up the award for Best Publishing Platform at the Digiday European Awards 2018, which took place in London on Wednesday 24th January.
The awards recognised the publishers, advertisers and technology platforms bringing about change and innovation in the European market. Distinct from Digiday’s US awards programme, these categories highlight the campaigns and innovations targeted specifically to European audiences.
The awards category Ve entered, recognises the best publishing technology platforms that helps publishers improve their business through better advertising, content delivery, measurement, or content distribution and discovery.
Ve’s submission was based on “The Dublin Virgin Media Night Run”, a campaign designed to increase sign-ups for the event. Titan Experience, on behalf of the telecommunications giant, worked alongside Ve to help boost awareness of the Virgin Media Night Run, the hugely popular Athletics Ireland event that takes over the city of Dublin for a weekend.
Ve implemented a full-funnel strategy consisting of onsite engagement, display advertising and email remarketing and utilised customer data to create exciting and seamless user experiences for each individual; from the very first touch point to the last. This approach encouraged users to seamlessly re-engage with their customer journey, and ultimately resulted in a 22% increase in conversions compared to the previous event.

This news comes off the back of an exciting start to 2018 for Ve Global with the appointment of Lady Michelle Mone OBE as a Non-Executive Board Member and the release of the company’s Golden Quarter Retail Report.
